FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about guests, privacy, event day and pricing.

Do my guests need an account?

No. Guests use the link or QR code on their invitation. Only you and your team sign in.

Can guests see who else is coming?

No. The guest page only shows a guest their own table. If a name is shared by several guests, Seatra asks for the last digits of the registered phone number.

Can I import my existing guest list?

Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file. Seatra matches your columns, checks every row, highlights possible duplicates and shows you a summary before anything is saved.

How does RSVP work?

Each household or party gets a private link. They confirm or decline, choose meals, add accompanying guests within the seats you offer, and can change their reply until your deadline.

Does WhatsApp sending work?

You can copy a ready-made WhatsApp message with the RSVP link for each invitation and send it from your phone. Sending directly through Seatra needs a WhatsApp Business API account, which we can help you set up.

What happens if the venue internet is slow?

Guest lookup and check-in need a connection. Venue screens keep showing the last published content if the connection drops, and the check-in desk clearly warns staff when it is offline.

What do I need for the venue screens?

Any TV, LED controller PC or tablet with a modern web browser. Open the display address on it, enter the pairing code in Seatra, and it updates by itself.

Can several ushers check guests in at once?

Yes. Any number of counters can work at the same time. If two counters scan the same guest, the second sees "already checked in".

How much extra do more guests cost?

Extra capacity is RM60 per 100 guests, bought in blocks, or you can upgrade to a bigger package and pay the difference.

Is my data safe?

Each customer's data is kept separate, every change is logged, and you can require two-step verification for your admins. You can export your data or ask us to delete it at any time.
